You were put here for a reason. Let’s continue the journey noticing life’s moments, and turn all your moments of the ordinary into something extraordinary.
Mindfulness moment 5. Notice every moment – even waiting in line!
Everything and everyone is your teacher.
The line at the grocery store gives you a moment to learn to breathe deeply into your abdomen. Feel the breath go in and out. Count to ten breaths if you like, then start again. Remember this is an opportunity, it doesn’t have to be seen as a frustration.
The “annoying” workmate is your chance to foster more compassion. The person telling you something you don’t want to hear may teach you to listen. Don’t forget everyone has their own story, how someone else’s life has been shaped to see the world may be different to how you see the world.
The rain is washing away the dirt and bringing fresh water. Fog provides water for some and is your chance to touch a cloud if you please.
Each moment brings a new possibility.

See moments that deviated from the expected as opportunities, not frustrations.

In good times and bad, prosperous or adversity, we should learn every moment. Life’s lessons are there for us and we have to pass each test, react the right way every day.

Hi Beth, yes definitely we should practice staying in each moment, not just the “good” moments 😊

If you miss the opportunity to appreciate one moment don’t stress, because the next moment comes free of charge. All you have to do is pay attention. Lovely words Kellie 🙏

It really is all about mindfulness isn’t it, awareness of each moment and remembering that we always have a choice as to how we respond, to anything. Great post to start the year. 💙

One of my intentions for 2021 is to be present every day and notice those little every day moments of magic. And it’s making me so much happier even just these first 7 days into the year!
