About me

The main topics here are mindfulness (‘staying present’, or ‘in the moment’), self-improvement and stitching (crochet, sewing).

There will be a regular post each Monday, including a monthly wrap on the last Monday of each that will feature another writer’s blog.

Love family, coffee, dark chocolate, nature and lots more!

Update for 2021: ‘self-shaping snippets’ will be shared some Mondays to help improve your mental health.

Updated in 2020: with the ‘new normal’ way of living, more creations (such as crochet) will be shared.

  1. Dear Kellie – thanks for visiting my Sophia’s Children online home; I’m glad that Linda’s Time Machine challenge led you there. I’m glad to know of your musings here as well. Nature, dark chocolate, coffee, etc. … shared interests, to be sure. 🙂 Blessings, Jamie

  2. Dear Kellie,

Hello! What a wealth of practical knowledge and helpful tips from all of those TedTalk presentations showcased in your posts!

Thank you very much for your wonderful efforts in presenting your weekly posts, many of which I have had the pleasure of reading with gusto.

I have quite a lot to say about mindfulness in a special, very expansive post published at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/soundeagle-in-best-moment-award-from-moment-matters/

Please kindly allow me the pleasure of reciprocating the spirit and essence of your blog regarding mindfulness with a very special post of mine entitled “🦅 SoundEagle in Best Moment Award from Moment Matters 🔖🏆” at https://soundeagle.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/soundeagle-in-best-moment-award-from-moment-matters/

The said post opens with this paragraph:

A spiritual outlook with a minimalist perspective on life that is conducive to happiness is often predicated on living in the present moment through mindful awareness emancipated from the vagaries of the subconscious and the itinerants of the mind.

May you find this post dealing with mindfulness and “living in the moment” beneficial to you in various ways. Please be informed that you might need to use a desktop or laptop computer with a large screen to view the rich multimedia contents available for heightening your multisensory enjoyment at my websites, some of which could be too powerful and feature-rich for iPad, iPhone, tablet or other portable devices to handle properly or adequately.

Though the post is very long and encyclopaedic, the navigational menu there can help you to jump to any section of the post instantly so that you can resume reading at any point of the post over multiple sessions in your own time.

Also, thank you for your feedback at the comment section of the special tribute entitled “Khai & Khim: For Always and Beyond Goodbye”. I shall reply to you there in good time.

Happy October to you and your family!
